A seemingly chaotic arrangement of elements is revealed to have an underlying order. Pieces of wood are arranged within a containing ‘box’ to provide the image – as relayed via a black and white CCTV camera – of an empty storeroom, complete with shelving, skirting boards and fittings. The setup is constructed on its side, further distancing it from the logic of its on-screen manifestation.
