Celestial Cloud II & IV | 2004

A monitor shows four CCTV images simultaneously in split-screen, showing various parts of a banal, unspecified interior. Beyond is a chaotic set of painted wood, glass and pieces of carpet, surrounded at various positions by the four CCTV cameras that provide a live feed to the monitor. As the viewer walks through the set, he will appear within the on-screen environment in unexpected ways, subverting expectations of the relation between the construct and its relayed image.
